Noise dispute might have led South Korean man to start out flat fireplace that killed him: police



South Korean police are investigating a flat fireplace in Seoul that killed a 61-year-old man, believed to be the arsonist, and injured six others, with native media suggesting noise disputes because the possible trigger.

Authorities mentioned that the aged suspect, surnamed Lee, had moved out of the 21-storey public rental constructing in November after extended conflicts along with his upstairs neighbours.

Within the almost two years that Lee lived in unit 301, he ceaselessly argued with the individuals residing straight above him in unit 401 over noise points, in keeping with The Korea Instances newspaper.

Police had been referred to as to the constructing in September after a bodily altercation, however no prison costs had been filed. Even after shifting out, Lee reportedly continued to go to the complicated and argue along with his former neighbours.

“He was somebody the police ought to have handled, not us,” one resident instructed The Korea Instances.

Lee allegedly returned to set the constructing on fireplace on Monday morning, about 5 months after he had moved out. Witnesses reported a loud explosion and flames popping out of items 401 and 404.
