Man Ritchie‘s re-imagining of Sherlock Holmes has its first teaser trailer.
Prime Video’s upcoming Younger Sherlock stars Hero Fiennes Tiffin (After) as a youthful Holmes enrolled on the College of Oxford in 1870.
Ritchie each directs the primary two episodes and govt produces the sequence. He beforehand discovered a recent tackle Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s nice detective together with his 2009’s Sherlock Holmes film starring Robert Downey Jr., and a subsequent sequel.
The eight-episode sequence is billed as an origin story for the character. From the official description: “Sherlock Holmes is a disgraced younger man – uncooked and unfiltered – when he finds himself wrapped up in a homicide case that threatens his liberty. His first ever case unravels a globe-trotting conspiracy that adjustments his life perpetually. Unfolding in 1870s Oxford and adventuring overseas, the sequence will expose the early antics of the anarchic adolescent who’s but to evolve into Baker Road’s most famous resident.”
Together with Dracula, Sherlock Holmes might be probably the most screen-adapted literary character of all time. Barry Levinson beforehand directed a Younger Sherlock Holmes film in 1985.
The remainder of the Younger Sherlock forged consists of Dónal Finn (The Wheel of Time), Zine Tseng (3 Physique Downside), Joseph Fiennes (The Handmaid’s Story), Natascha McElhone (Halo), Max Irons (Condor) and Colin Firth (The King’s Speech).

Younger Sherlock premieres March 4, 2026.
