Amazon Acquires Taiwanese Drama Sequence ‘Islanders’


Amazon Prime Video has acquired the worldwide streaming rights to Islanders, an bold Taiwanese drama sequence set to premiere worldwide on July 18.

Co-helmed by Singaporean filmmaker Ler Jiyuan (Invisible Tales) and Taiwanese theater director Tsai Pao-Chang, the eight-part sequence blends sharp social commentary with cinematic aptitude, in line with the producers.
