A brief-but-sweet teaser trailer for The Satan Wears Prada 2 reveals the return of Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway to their iconic roles.
The primary footage (beneath) reveals Streep’s Miranda and Hathaway’s Andy assembly in an elevator. Not proven are co-stars Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci, who additionally reprise their roles from the 2006 trend comedy.
The sequel returns “to the modern streets of New York Metropolis and the smooth workplaces of Runway Journal.”
The movie is directed by David Frankel and written by Aline Brosh McKenna, and introduces new characters performed by Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen, Pauline Chalamet, B.J. Novak and Conrad Ricamora.
Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman additionally reprise their roles as Lily and Irv from the primary movie.
